HIF1 must be approved. Oxfordshire County Council asked the Government for millions of pounds to deliver it, then asked for even more money for it (which it received) and then turned around and rejected their own proposal.
I supported Appleford’s campaign to have the position of the road moved but we need the overall project to relieve pressure from all the new housing that is being built - otherwise we will end up with all the extra people in cars which the houses will bring and none of the infrastructure improvement that was agreed to come with them.
