I am delighted that so many local pensioners attended and benefited from my Pensioners’ Fair in Wantage this month. We had great feedback from attendees about the value of bringing together in one place some of the key organisations, services, and clubs that provide advice and support to older people. I was glad that important connections were made, and I was also happy to take away several cases that people raised with me. Thank you to Driving Miss Daisy Didcot for sponsoring the Fair, and to all the great local and national organisations that attended including Vale Community Impact, Age UK Oxfordshire, Thames Valley Police, Wantage Association of Retired Persons, the Department for Work and Pensions, Harwell Bowls Club, Carers Oxfordshire, and more.
