David officially opens the new Pitchside Café at Wallingford Sports Park

I met John Atkins, Co-Chair of the Wallingford Sports Trust, a while back when visiting the Sports Park. Since then, he and the team have successfully cut their energy consumption by 50% - partly thanks to a new solar-powered battery system, funded by grants. I was proud to be invited to unveil a plaque to officially open the new Pitchside Cafe and Solar Installation.
