I have promoted Pension Credit repeatedly to local pensioners since I was elected as it can provide a significant amount of additional money to those on the lowest incomes. It provides an extra £3,500 boost to low-income pensioners, but not all those who are eligible claim it.

I am delighted that the Vale of White Horse has been chosen as one the areas for a new Government trial to increase uptake of this crucial benefit and I encourage everyone who is eligible to claim it.
