Kate Farrington has created a lovely cafe at the Old Stables in Wantage (Down to Earth Cafe), using a venue operated by Makespace Oxford, which takes over the running of underused spaces so that community organisations can use them. I had a delicious soup, but there's plenty more on the menu, including community cooking and training events on Wednesdays, making great use of surplus food.
