"I’d like to commend the work of Design and Technology departments in schools across the constituency – and the country – in assisting in the fight against COVID-19. Across the country over 250,000 pieces of PPE have been manufactured by schools.
King Alfred’s Academy in Wantage is a prime example of this and has worked alongside the Design and Technology Association to supply every care home and NHS building in the Wantage area with as many face shields as they have needed. A huge well done to them.
