I had the absolute pleasure of meeting these 2 constituents: John (103) represented our country at the surrender of Japan at the end of World War II and was the person who signed the surrender document.
His sister, Audrey (96) was one of the founders of Oxford Instruments, the first company spun out of Oxford University and hugely successful FTSE 250 business.
It was a highlight of this year so far and I'm very grateful to them for letting me pop round and meet them.
