It was a pleasure to visit Willowcroft Community School to meet the budding Lionesses in their girl’s football team as part of the FA’s #LetGirlsPlay initiative. They are lucky to be coached by the Captain of Wantage Town Ladies FC, who is a teaching assistant at the school. I also had a good conversation with the headteacher about special educational needs.
