David attends event at Diamond Light Source for Ukrainian refugees and their staff sponsors

I very much enjoyed attending the community event at Diamond Light Source, where Ukrainian refugees and staff sponsors came together to celebrate the successes of the Homes for Ukraine scheme and reflect on the challenges refugees have faced. At the reception afterwards, there were plenty of great cakes from The Cake Bar on Grove Street in Wantage - set up by Ukrainian refugees, Lara and Alyona.
