Regarding today’s vote I had decided I would not vote to block the Committee of Privileges investigating this issue and I told the colleague I am supposed to tell (my ‘whip’) this at lunchtime yesterday.
We have now been told we are being given a free vote this afternoon anyway. I will be abstaining and I expect Labour's motion to pass.
