I am a regular visitor to this constituency's farms (and a regular consumer of the high-quality meat and dairy products they produce!) and we should do all we can to support them, not least by promoting domestic food production and buying local wherever possible.
Farming is a very tough job and we don't have enough people going into it. Today is Back British Farming Day and I was pleased to attend a reception this morning with the National Farming Union to show support for our farmers.
